CSA season length
In 2012 our CSA will be 21 weeks long, running from the last week of May through the third week of October.
CSA pick up options
-Saturday, 8:00 am – 2:00pm at the Longmont Farmers’ Market
-Friday evening, 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Longmont Farm House
-Friday afternoon pick-up will be available for harvest volunteers and barter members
CSA Options and Costs
CSA membership options
- Paid or Barter memberships.
-Costs to paid members: $550 for weekly share or $300 for a bi-weekly share
-Costs to barter members: At least 4 labor hrs/wk. Must have Friday or Saturday availibility.
-All members are invited and encouraged to spend extra volunteer time at the farm
CSA perks and extras
In 2012 members are invited to a series of classes and dinners featuring chef Ryan Foote.
-May 11th – An introductory get to know you, Pot luck / farm food dinner.
-June 15th – Dinner and a class. Spring risotto and fresh salads.
-July 13th – Dinner and a class. Bloody Marys? Good chance.
-August, 31st, Dinner and a class. We’ll do fresh pasta and fresh tomatoes.
-September, 21st, We’ll do a class and dinner about soup
- October, 26th, It’s all about squash, with dinner and a class.
CSA cost options
-Weekly shares: $550/yr
-Bi-Weekly shares: $300/yr
-Most weeks, shares will include 8-10 veggie varieties
-Early season may be less
-High season will be more
CSA payment options
While payment in full when you sign up is very helpful for us, we understand this isn’t possible for everyone.
If you can not pay for your whole CSA at sign-up, you can use our payment plan.
Simply divide your total due into 2,3 or 4 portions. The first portion is due at sign-up and the remaining portions are due monthly thereafter.
